Community Investment and Initatives Group

The Group provides a forum in which agencies delivering community and voluntry sector services and initiatives to South Kilburn residents can network effectively, share concerns and good practice, and work through sensible, local solutions. The group includes representatives from local landlords - BHP, Catalyst, Genesis, London and Quadrant and Network Stadium - BASIS, Brent CVS Forum and Brent Council.
The group meets every two months and is Chaired by SKNT Trustee Phil Howe. The rationale for the group is:
Ensure a joint approach to community engagement and investment activities in the area by the new housing providers, any other organisation supporting the voluntary sector, South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust and others.

- Develop joint community plans
- Pool community based funds where appropriate
- Support and raise awareness of community run activities
- Support development of joint action to local concerns such as community safety
