Employment and Skills Group
The Group provides a forum in which agencies delivering Employment & Skills services to South Kilburn residents can network effectively, share concerns and good practice, and work through sensible, local solutions.
Terms of Reference:
- To highlight gaps in current service provision and think creatively how these could be addressed; where necessary using collective influence to bring about necessary changes and/or to develop a shared business case for additional inward investment.
- To bring together mainstream providers with a view to reviewing performance against the targets set out in the SK Regeneration Strategy, identifying opportunities to better join up delivery for the benefit of SK residents.
- To keep a watching brief on emergent changes in employment and skills policy and strategy that may impact on SK residents to ensure that SKP makes appropriate, co-ordinated, and timely responses.
- To develop and agree inter-agency information and data sharing protocols.
- To ensure that the best interests of SK residents are represented effectively at the Local Strategic Partnership and that their investment decisions are informed by reliable local data.
The group will aim to meet once every half term (6 times a year).
Reporting
Notes of meetings and any other relevant supporting documentation will be distributed to all members of the Employment & Skills Group.
