Neighbourhood Coordination
The Neighbourhood Coordination Group is to encourage, promote and facilitate joint working, common standards and strategic ways of managing the tenures in South Kilburn.
SKNT considers that significant opportunities exist through this group for building in the long term a quality standard infrastructure in South Kilburn. The Neighbourhood Coordination group would operate with a remit to initially include;
· Joint policies on public realm matters
· Housing consultation
· Common Anti-Social Behaviour procedures and action plans
· Tenant Communication
· Tenant involvement & empowerment in service delivery
· A unified residents association for South Kilburn

Terms of Reference
Overall Focus:
To establish a collaborative approach among housing providers, developers and relevant organisations who are, or will be, responsible for the management of homes and public realm in South Kilburn, with a view to;
Responsibilities:
Members*:
Registered Providers –Catalyst Housing Group, Genesis Housing Group, London & Quadrant Housing Group, Network Stadium Housing Group, Brent Housing Partnership, Brent Council Housing Team (Regeneration and Major Projects), Brent Council Planning & Design officers (Regeneration and Major Projects), Brent Integrated Community Safety Team, South Kilburn residents, elected members, SKNT and First Call. Other agencies where relevant (eg police, religious organisations, community facilities).
* Additional partners from Affinity Sutton, One Housing Group and any others will be provided with details of the meetings as appropriate.
Governance:
Meetings will be facilitated and serviced by the South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust on a bi-monthly basis.
Members are asked to send a representative to each meeting and undertake activities which they have agreed to.

- Working together to provide homes and environment of unparalleled quality, meeting the needs of both the resident population and new residents in the area. A place people are proud to call home.
- Increase benefit to residents by ensuring consistency, non duplication of efforts and first-class service provision and maintenance. Not just doing things well, doing things better.
- Minimise disruption to residents during development activity over the regeneration period.
- Support relevant Tenant Service Authority regulatory framework activities (particularly tenant involvement & empowerment, neighbourhood and community, & value for money.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure a standardised approach to sharing information on developments and any issues/problems that could affect residents to minimise complaints and confusion.
- To develop joint policies on public realm matters in South Kilburn.
- To work together, inform and update on housing consultations & events.
- To develop common Anti-Social Behaviour procedures and action plans, and joint working to relieve issues.
- To work together, where beneficial, on resident communication (eg publications) and PR.
- To develop opportunities for resident involvement and empowerment, particularly in monitoring and developing suitable scrutiny standards and systems.
- To work towards a unified resident/tenants association working alongside currently existing groups.
- To support general information sharing and shared details on surveys, satisfaction and other analysis.
- To inform and comment on new projects, exploiting opportunities for joint working.
- To jointly review and work towards consolidation of contracts and procurement.
