St Augustine's Sports Centre
Sport for All at affordable prices for South Kilburn residents
Since it opened in May 2010 St Augustine’s Sports Centre, on the corner of Rudolph and Oxford Roads, has become an invaluable asset to the local community allowing its facilities to be enjoyed by clubs and individuals in the area.
The centre is open 6pm-10pm Monday-Friday and 9am-10pm Saturday & Sunday.
Discounts on facilities and programmes are offered to local residents. You can use the centre for badminton on a ‘pay and play’ basis every weekday evening between 6-10pm and between 9 am and 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
There are also a variety of classes. For example, on Tuesday evenings the popular Boxfit class offers a great motivating workout. On Thursday evenings you can drop in to the high energy and fun dance based aerobic class of Zumba.
There are excellent programmes available for children. After school basketball coaching for 6-14 year olds takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6-7pm.
The centre can be used for badminton, basketball, volleyball, 5-a-side football, table tennis, indoor cricket, exercise classes, sports courses, holiday activities, and sport themed children’s birthday parties.
The centre has four badminton courts available for casual hire and all equipment can also be hired. Clubs and organisations from South Kilburn are encouraged to apply for casual or block bookings.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)
Look out for the exciting launch of the Community Access Multi User Games Area (MUGA). This will be set in the verdant surroundings of St Mary's Catholic School in South Kilburn. Activities are tabled to include: football; basketball; netball and tennis. Reasonable hourly rates will be available and there will be open access on Monday to Friday evenings and at the weekends.
If you have coaching experience in any of these sports and want to get involved, St Mary's would like tohear from you. Please note, that all coaches will need to have sufficient experience and have completed a CRB check to participate.
